Okay... S o I’m trying to create an art-focused Kinja group blog as a way of helping some of my friends and I stay connected during coronavirus. I know you have to merge two accounts to make a group blog, so I’ve already created two accounts and merged them, but now I can’t figure out what I’m supposed to do next . In the little drop-down menu by the account where you can see what blogs you can write on, I can see my merged account, but clicking on it only gives me a “404 page not found” message. Furthermore, I can’t figure out how to compose a post on the group blog with the remaining account, as the button for that seems to have disappeared following the merge... And, of course, I don’t know how to do any admin-y things like granting authorship and whatnot. Anybody have any advice on how to do this? I feel so lost...

I didn’t think any new blogs could be made anymore since like 2015 or so.

It looked that way, but then it seemed like they backed down, so I gave it a try.
I think this is the new group blog I’ve created so far: https://tomatokitten.kinja.com/
I still don’t seem to be able to create any new posts with my new account, though, which is why the blog is empty. Didn’t someone here find the link for creating new posts when the button disappears at some point?
