My first car was a hot hatch. $500 from my brother.
Burned rubber and oil. The rubber burning smell was from the exhaust bracket rubbing on the inside of the rear tire, eventually flattening it. Thanks Meineke!!!
The only aftermarket parts were a Clarion cassette player and nice speakers on the back deck. When I sold it, there was a (bootleg) INXS tape jammed in there.
