Also, my neighbor is cleaning out his mother’s house to sell it, so he dragged out his other Mach 1.

I like that 67 Chevy especially. Looks to be an SS in decent shape.

Yeah, it was badged as an SS at least . It’s been there for a while by the looks of it. I happened to peek in an abandoned warehouse and there it was. It looks like it’s a wash away from looking new.

Those early fleetside Chevy trucks are so good looking.

Is it wrong that I want to take a 1940s/1950s GMC truck, and put an electric drive train in it? LED lights, and redo the interior, but keep the exterior looking nice and rusty.

I’m a bigger fan of a modern drivetrain to keep using it as a truck. It’s a 9' bed model.

I’m honestly a fan of any drivetrain upgrades that keep a vehicle “shell” moving. I’ve flip-flopped on my game plans for the Rampage. Electrified would be VERY ideal within the city where it does 98% of its km’s. but I occasionally use it to haul my dirt bike out to the middle of “ nowheres”; and those nowheres have no plugins. So range “ refresh ability” makes me lean more towards a V8 swap right now... A jerry can gets me back to a town for a bigger refill. But in town that battery would pack a mean punch. My tire budget would increase for certain. Still very torn. I’d also like to have selectable 4WD, and make it a primary RWD for some more spirited handling. And also likely 4-Link the rear with some coils vs leafs. Maybe air bag it... Oh man. Too many choices!

Yep it does look pretty clean. A couple of the trucks below it (that Ford!) Look like they just have surface rust on them (patina if you’re trying to sell them for big bucks lol).
Cool stuff!

Agreed. I’m not a huge truck guy, but I do really like trucks from that era. They’ve got so much character!
