So, is this your own design? (cool, either way!)

Very impressive, I have contemplated doing similar, but but decided that completion would require both a skill set and energy level I don’t have.
Two questions , it looks like the seat back will be up against the back end of the current frame, what is the rear wheel set up/suspension mounts etc.? Also all from you fertile mind or a plan you have adapted to your purposes?
Please keep posting, living vicariously through your adventures and all that.

It's a loose interpretation of an existing design known as a locost, which itself is a redesign of the lotus 7.

The frame design is known as a locost which is an altered lotus 7, this particular one shares next to nothing with book chassis’s dimensionally. I do have a book that details sizes to cut but that stopped being used after laying the floor down on day 2, after that it’s been follow the basic design using the measurements that work for the drivetrain.
The rear end will be a 4 link with the axle pushed as close to the bulkhead as possible.
The rearm ost bulkhead bar is offset 1" inward to give clearance for suspension arms.

I am familiar with the locost book and idea, my brother was going to build one with an Alfa 2 liter, but didn't get as far as you have when his circumstances changed. Yours looks a little more ambitious. Good luck!
