That’s original paint too! Can you believe it? This car spent most of it’s life in Napa in a garage going back and forth to Novato. I have service receipts from Datsun of Vall ejo.

Nope that’s stock. The series 1 cars with the E31 head were designed to rev 7,000+ so they are a little burbly at idle.

Interesting how similar the engine bay of your Datsun looks to the TR6, I’ll post a pic sometime.
