An absolute banger of a song. Beautiful Midnight is an album I wholeheartedly recommend. It slows down a bit at some points, but overall, it’s a top 20 album for me.

This album is also in my top 10) Hello timebomb is the banger, tho) . Along with some tragically hip and some Sloan.
I grew up 5 miles south of the peace arch and 99.3 was my favorite station(except Sunday nights at 10 when Lights Out came on rock 101...). I miss hearing all the Canadian content in the classis rock and hard rock stations.

Hello Timebomb is an awesome song. I’m with you on the Hip, and I like Sloan but I don’t know enough of their discography.
In Canada, our radio stations are required to play 35% Canadian content between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., so I’ve always been immersed in Canadian music. And the 90s Canadian playlist on Spotify is frequently played in my house.

Oooh 90s Canadian playlist you say? Biff naked and the tea party?
Ma n, I couldn’t imagine sensibilities as a musician without the hip. I cried when gord died... I have their cbc farewell show on my laptop’s hardrive...
Theres a best of or Sloan’s greatest hits album that's killer imo.

And I Mother Earth, Snow, The Odds, Econoline Crush, Alanis Morrisette, it’s pretty good stuff.
I’ll have to check out the album!
