Baby back ribs, her first ever attempt, and rosemary potatoes. She served me a cold Kiltlifter with it because, in her words, that’s more Irish.

Also, lemon drop cookies for dessert. My wife protested that she can’t keep making a new batch of cookies every day, to which my daughter and I responded , “we don’t understand the question”.

My daughters made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies today. When I suggested oatmeal energy bars tomorrow I was told that Tuesday and Thursday are baking days. Not sure I’ll make it to Thursday. Cookies definitely won’t.

I first had this stuff at a reception on  an Indian reservation in Nevada back in ‘07. I was surprised to find it in my grocery store last fall.
