I figured with all this crap going on we could use a bit of a diversion.

I’m on day two of being told to stay home, along with several other of my coworkers . Not sure how it’s going to work going forward but we’re on skeleton crew for now. I’m still getting paid, but I don’t like staying at home while others work. Right now I’m at the vet with Sophie getting her vaccines current and clipping her long nails.

She’s such a good dog. We won the dog lottery when we got her. She is fantastically well behaved and more or less potty trained herself. She's 11 now, but still pretty energetic and as happy as ever.

We’ve been going out more than usual which makes her happy. Yesterday she had a minor mishap with a claw on her back foot though, so we've taken it a little easy today. She's already clearly feeling better.

She really is. The only growing pains we had with her was her first year when she was a furry little chewnado. Our dining room chairs look like beavers attacked them.
