In a story of how one thing led to another which led to another, I ended up power-washing the curb in front of my house. Now that it’s clean, the neighbors’ curbs look awful.
The guy next door was working on the mulch in his front beds. He wasn’t happy that I inadvertently added to his list of chores!

I’m hoping you went back for the gutter concrete too, imagine how nice it will look!
Then make some quick cash doing the neighbors’ :)

If I were a home owner I would be completely unconcerned with whether my curbs appeared dirty. I’m clearly not cut out for suburbia...

I’m already the eyesore of the neighborhood. Your clean curbs would have no affect on me.

It started with a clump of pomp as grass by the mailbox. Then it became power-washing 10+ years of grime off the mailbox post. Then I accidentally swiped clean part of the curb. And then...

I normally keep the gutter swept so I don’t have mud puddles at the end of my driveway. I keep it clean enough for water and most of the dirt to flow. I’m not sure I have the will to go back and power-wash the whole thing. As for the neighbors, they can do it themselves or hire someone else. I’ve had enough.

Exactly. You don't start out planning to clean the curbs, but..

That does look good, has me thinking the ‘ol driveway and sidewalk could maybe use a cleaning this spring.

Many moons ago...my housemate and I used a pressure washer we borrowed from my work to clean our cars at the apartment complex we lived in. Clean cars, empty beer bottles and a lovely summer Saturday afternoon saw us suddenly creating fantabulous artwork in the crusty concrete of the parking area with the pressure washer.
As neither of us were in anyway actually artistic only somewhat inebriated...the merit of our works was perhaps not as high as it could have been in retrospect.
The upside was that someone on the body corporate decided that the entire carpark needed a very thorough clean...

My driveway still looks rough. I may need to rent one of those surface cleaning attachments. I’ve used one before and they make cleaning big areas much faster.

I've always wanted to pull a similar prank but by drawing on clouded up headlights with toothpaste to clean them selectively, as to portray crude images

Why didn’t you power wash his at the same time? It would have taken you 5 minutes extra.
Edit: I was thinking a curb in between your property, not out front. Yeah fuck that.
