This is a recycled\upcycled handwashing station.
This same guy was on the team that invented the thermal inkjet printer head for HP years ago.
Pretty neat what humans can come up with.

Seems good!
I’m irrationally bothered by this though:
Public Domain — free use with attribution
If it’s public domain, you can’t put attribution requirements on it (well you can, but people have no obligation to follow). If they really cared about attribution, they should be using a Creative Commons license or similar.
That of course has nothing to do with helping people without convenient access to clean running water help wash their hands.

Fair point. I think his concern is someone doesn't make money off his idea we wanted to help others with. I'll point this out to him. I'm also bothered by the lack of a)waste water bucket and b)source water bucket and lid in his supply list. But I know Niels and blame it on his excitement to to some good somehow

Didn’t it have a wastewater bucket?
It does seem like the source bucket might be pain to deal with, since it’s sort of buried in there. Having a fill hole might be good, though perhaps contamination is too big of a risk. As is, you have to take everything apart to refill ( which may not be that big of a deal compared to getting new clean water to replace it), but also leaves the station out of service until the bucket has been replaced.

I thought it only listed 2 buckets in the supply list at the beginning, and referred to the source and waste as “extra buckets” throughout instructions. I may have missed it...
Yes, it is not perfect. And it may have helped him cope with the insanity just as much as it will help someone stay safe. Which is also a neat human being thing.
