Ever wonder why big boobs are considered attractive? I mean at which point in our evolution were women with big boobs naturally selected for?

Or was it sociological and thus artificial selection pressure.  But if it was sociological, what big brained caveman decided women with big boobs we re good?

I feel slightly offended. Even the bots don’t want me. In this case, though, that’s a good thing

P otentially because we have flat faces the breast sticking out is easier for infants

Perhaps, but that is easily remedied  by holding the infant closer while nursing. Doesn’t seem like a strong enough selection pressure, if at all

Warning: pure speculation ahead. Breasts are an external marker of fertility in females. We consciously recognized this from early on. I imagine the correlation between breast size and an assumed level of fertility came from a very reductive, pre-scientific, “ more be must better” mindset.

That being   said, it doesn’t necessarily seem that breast size strictly follows genetic selection anyway , a) because small-chested women still exist, and b) are born to mothers who have large breasts, and vice versa.

So   I think the general percieved preference for larger breasts is just perpetuated societal pressure. Small-chested women are still out there gettin'  it, which is awesome.
