The goal is to have the middle box of the frame tacked together after work tomorrow. Today was a bit of mockup and cutting the lengths, though the angles still need to be worked out and cut.
Here is the gist of what’s being made, while what I’m doing will be wider and lower.
This is the advanced methods being used to visualize how the trans will fit and determine final widths. Set scraps down in measured spots based on the books dimensions, then move them around to suit. The 350z trans is huge so it will have to sit forward from the firewall if my wide feet are going to stand a chance with the pedals.
This time tomorrow the lengths should look like something.

I’ll be watching this one closely. I’ve been wanting to do a Locost for years and have slowly been researching and hoarding info/books. I’m planning on motorcycle power however and doing an original size frame. Good luck!

An effort will be made to complete at least a couple tasks regularly which I'll flood oppo with. That being said this is as much about building experience as it is about the car for me so it very well could stall out.

I think that's the one. "Build your own Sport car on a budget", with a yellow Haynes branded car on the cover?

Ooh so exciting. Going to be interesting how you place that CD009. That thing was a monster to fit.
