Got a nice tax return this year, now it’s gone. Got some low, & grip.

Kinja'd!!!

not mine, but how it should look when settled.

Some lowering springs, & slightly more grippy tires (& lighter wheels). Eibach springs(1.2" drop F&R) , & Firehawk Indy 500s. Not the best tires, for the money they seem great. It will also be legal for Auto-x again, but bearly (60.6" wide, 60.5" tall). Legal is legal.

2 year run on that paint option. Electric Blue,  it was 2011 & 2012.

Should be rad.

I imagine people at Nissan will see your straight piped manual lowered Juke with paint liveries and just go “what”.

I keep looking at these for a possible next car. I can find Nismo RS ones for a not bad price. And since my wife is thinking we should take ski trip once a year now that we live somewhere nearish to places it snows, then clearly I need 4WD or AWD to make the trip.

But... its a 300 series plate, and I’d like something cheaper for the registration.

The RS in FWD does have a really good LSD (Helical LSD), so with a proper tire it be more then fine. Also the CVT’s across the Juke range are really unreliable, even with a CVT cooler. As per plates, I’m not familiar with Japanese plates & their insurance system.

Oh, I know that there’s no need for any of that for the occasional trip to where there is snow. Just (as you said) the correct tire for the job.

I’m just not fond of FWD on its own though. Mostly because of how easy it is to lose grip as you turn and accelerate. Does the newish Maxima use the same LSD? (I’ve tried my parents 3 year old Maxima; it’s annoying how if the wheel is not straight and there’s just the slightest miss pushing on the go pedal then it spins the tires instead of moving forward.)

This is actually what I’m thinking as it is more practical with the small streets:
