Did you know you can’t have turbo without having Turo?

They were hilarious little cars. Their only downside was the fact the interior trim clearly came from the mechanically related run of the mill Pulsar hatch and looked it but especially felt it. However, the seats were awesome.

And you can’t have Turbo without rub and tub. Rub a dub dub!

Love the vertical gauges, I’ve always been surprised those were never all that common. Only other car I can think of is the 80s Jaguar XJS

I’ve occasionally wondered how difficult it would be to put a CA18DET into one of these.  It can’t be that difficult, right?

I do believe people do it. I think people SR20 them too.

The CA can’t be that hard. Though I think the more power you’ve got, the more you’ll wish it wasn’t FWD. Maybe best to leave it a little slow

It turns out the CA18DET is only ~35 hp over the CA18DE stock for stock. But i t does have 51 ft-lbs more torque. Though, what’s the likelihood that a CA18DET would stay stock...

Not realizing that the CA18DE isn’t deathly slow (131 hp, 117 ft-lbs in something that weighs ~2,300 lbs), I’m thinking that the stock high-end engine is probably plenty fun.
