UPDATE: You all convinced me: RallyVan now has rally wheels. Next question is which set of rubber to I put them on? Do I install them on the new Pirellis I purchased for warm weather driving? Or slap them on my RallyCross/winter tire? The other wheel option I have are the SHO slicer wheels I have on the summer set.

———————————————————————————————-

Literally me debating on whether or not to pull the trigger on white Sparco Terras for the van.

Kinja'd!!!

They are marked down from $155 to $120!!

Kinja'd!!!

I already have the white SHO slicer wheels, so I think I’ll use these on the RallyCross/winter tires. IF I choose to buy them.

Speaking of, bought new summer tires for the SHO wheels. The old factory Continentals have seen their last road. They have a 2nd gen of the P7 tire so these were on a nice sale.

Ummm, yes. It’s the next logical step from white steelies.

Answer is the same as it was the last time vans were cool, late 70's.

If it aint getting you laid or keeping you off something heavy it’s probably not worth it.  [At least in part joking]

These are significantly lighter than the steelies I run on RallyCross. So there’s a huge benefit. They also look friggin sweet. I’ve got the getting  laid part nailed down thanks to the missus ;)

I have those tires on my Volvo.  They are a fine grand touring tire and people seem to like them!

They rate really high everywhere I see them. Tough to pass on a price that low too.

I figured they are blowing them out due to gen 2 being released, but I’ll take that deal!

They have been in my plans but I still need to figure out what I want to do with my suspension. Then come new wheels. I should also sell my old wheels that have sat unmounted in the basement for about 2 years

I’ve been seriously considering some lowering springs, but that will take me out of stock class for RallyCross.

Had Cinturatos on my A3 but they weren’t that great for corner carving. I always had the feeling the rims wanted to pop off the tires in sharp corners. Maybe it were the 6.5J×16 Et45 wheels as they looked balloony on the car

I don’t plan on corner carving TOO much in the van. My wheels are about the same size as well

I don’t have to worry about that part . I’m just trying to decide between koni inserts in to super old strut housings  or Tein struts that seem good but have basically no reviews

That’s the issue with parts for the van. They’re out there, but no reviews. Eibach makes lowering springs for it, but I now of zero people that have them on their van.

I can’t imagine there are many out there lowering their vans. Eibach makes good stuff though
