Just cannot imagine anyone here enjoying a Toyota Century that sounds better than most sports cars.

$18k exhaust on a $4500 car reminds me a lot of the late 90's / early 2000's trend of putting $10k rims on $500 shit heaps.
Though I do appreciate the weirdness of a flagship limousine that sounds like an I talian exotic.

Also, if you want some repelling Japanese music:

To be fair I did put a disclaimer on this.

I’m not fond of ruining rare cars to promote oneself for a short lived fascination with being trendy.

I know, and I didn’t mean to come off as complaining or anything, I loved it and am genuinely glad you shared it. Also, see my other reply for actually repulsive Japanese music.

No worries, the entire thing was very lighthearted and high on shock value.

I also can’t tell if your post is serious. A Century that sounds better than most sports cars sounds like a great experience

He paid about $17,900 too much for that exhaust.
Beautiful car, though; I’d love to drive one with the stock exhaust.

Hell, should’ve taken it to some good ol’ boys that I know and they’d have hack sawed that exhaust off and put a couple of Cherry Bombs on it for $100. It wouldn’t be the first Century with a Cherry Bomb muffler.

Still eyeballing a century. Soo inexpensive... But not inexpensive enough.

I’m over the moon someone did this actually. The naysayers expecting ghetto mods will equal this are who the warning was meant to catch out.

I see your ghetto exhaust mod and up you a Greta exhaust mod.

Or even just a quietly burbling one that met regs for an import.

The price would be 10 times higher if you could. No joke, a year before they’re legal prices skyrocket in Japan.

Maybe theu mean 18k yen? Doesn’t take a whole lot to make a V12 sound mean.

no, it’s $18k US. He also has a Mercedes S600 with a $12k exhaust from the same guy. It’s ridiculous but hey, it’s his money so more power to him
