Update: removed upper lower control arms on all 4 corners and everything else on the rear as well. Came off pretty easy. I'll change the control arm bushings on the BMW tomorrow and remove the ball joints on Tuesday.
Finally got working on the Vette. Removed all 4 steering knuckles/hub carriers and the front leaf spring and shocks. Tomorrow I’ll remove the upper ball joints, rear leaf and shocks and hopefully get started on removing all the A arms.
The plan is to replace all ball joints, sway bar links, sway bars, front tie rod ends, do coilovers, delrin control arm bushings and get another 2 rear rims and put them on the front along with 305 section autocross tires.
I’m gonna get poor real soon :p

Looks like fun! Which tires are you going with? I have a set of R888Rs on stock rims and they’re pretty tired. D ebating switching to a square setup.

Looking at early reports, I’ll buy Yoko A052

Wait there’s a front leaf spring? I knew they had a horizontal leaf or whatever on the back, but I didn’t know there was one on the front too.

Like Porsche and rear engines, this is another example of proving that if you take a questionable idea and throw 50 years of R&D and untold piles of money at it, you can make it work out okay.

As long as you dont try to go too sideways, its fine. If you do, there is a lot of side to side crosstalk on the back which is less than ideal.
