I can't find any relatively cheap S197 Mustangs in Saskatchewan

If I do end up going north, I’d love a Mustang, a suspension lift, and studded tires for the winter. Now’s the time to enter project car hell, right?

Kinja'd!!!

Totally a good idea.

Better idea......it’s been done before. Just crate engine it! In Idaho’s fast stages he beat fully prepped open class subarus. Did 150 on gravel, said it was truly scary. Used truck racing tires cause regular rally skins would burn off in 10 minutes. The only car people backed away from on stage starts.....

I want to build a rallycross one with a 2.7 Ecoboost...

How dare you inform me of this. Now my evening is going to be spent looking at broken Mustangs.

I’m honestly shocked at how much S 197's go for. I was expecting early ones to be in the $3-4k range.

Some great deals on SN95s though.....

Alternatively, buy a suba ru that will last for decades and be both comfortable and practical.

Maaaaaybe a modest lift and some meatier tires.

SHHH THAT WAS ALREADY THE PLAN.

(The plan died when I realized I might be carless for two years)

Two extra years to save up for the Outback STI that’s definitely something Subaru is going to make and not just my internal fantasy.

Are you planning on storing the Fist or selling?

Man oh man am I down for that.

I’ll be keeping it at the airport in Prince Albert (everyone’s favourite town named after a genital piercing). That is, if this transfer goes through, which it likely will.

You and me both. I can’t help but laugh at the fact that my most hated vehicle I’ve ever owned—the outback—I would now happily give up my Miata and scooter to have back . Something infinitely boring that just works and is easy to live with... Sigh. I'm too young to be this old.

Hopefully you’ll have good internet connection! Oppo wouldn’t be the same without you around

Welcome to the old man club. We meet Thursdays, but not too late, we need our sleep.

Thanks! I will absolutely have internet (some of the time, maybe). It will likely doxx what I do for work, but meh, most people have figured it out anyway.
