Ooo, Poland! No idea where or when though, but likely the mid to late 70s considering the cars!
Blue one is an FSO Warszawa...likely a 223. White car on the left is a Trabant P601. Orange car at left is a Skoda 100 or Skoda 110.
Closest car in the background immediately to the right of the person and child in the crosswalk is a Trabant P601 as well.
EDIT:
Borsuq thinks the white car next to it is an earlier FIAT 125p with the vertical taillight arrangement, and that the truck in the shot would be a Star 28/29, which his dad used to have one of back in the day! :)
I can’t tell what the white car at the very far-right of shot in the background is...
The coolest spot in this whole pic is the little green truck thing comes towards the people in the crosswalk - it’s an East-German Multicar M22!
Not sure what the white car is right behind the Multicar in the background though. The white car immediately to the right of the Multicar in the background is an FSO Syrena...probably a Syrena 104.
:D

SAM used to be a term for a self-service store, which was a bit of a novelty back in the day. The more common type of store at the time would have all the products behind the counter and shop attendants who would fetch items for clients.
