I had the best pizza in my entire life.
Cheers to you, out-of-state deep dish pep. Gone but not forgotten.
(update) the cider is bomb. Sweet, but with an incredibly strong carbonation and a fair bit of sizzle from the habanero. Big fan.

I used to be of the opinion that thin crust pizza was the only pizza worth eating.
I’ve seen the light. Someday I'll try out Chicago's offerings # Deep dish master race

Up until recently, I always associated deep dish pizza with thick crust. Maybe that was because any time we had pizza as kids, it was homemade. I’ve only recently discovered that deep dish doesn’t mean thick crust. That pizza looks very tasty.
Dang it. Now I'm hungry.

I’ve had Giordano’s - convenient to O’Hare! - but not Lou Malnati’s. Going to Chicago next month, and will see about fixing THAT.

IMO, the best deep dish is 2.5 hours south of Chicago at Papa Del’s. And, Patxi’s is in my top 5 worldwide.

We have Malna ti’s in Phoenix. Definitely not worth shipping. No t even the best pizza in Phoenix.

Maybe. It’s definitely better than any Uno’s I’ve been to. My wife was invited to the restaurant when it first opened and ate with Marc Malnatti, so it’s pretty closely connected to the family, but it’s still chain pizza. Very nice guy and he gave her a bunch of free food to take home, so I can’t complain.
