Just ordered an exhaust for the Tomos. More brass, and more powah baby!

With this and supporting mods 40mph should be doable. We shall see.

Are you doing the big bore kit? I think the normal build is a fat pipe, 70  cc kit, upjet, and then 35-40 is feasible. There’s someone out there on the forums who has a much bigger kit and some other carb who’s gotten his up to 60, which to me sounds terrifying.

The exhaust looks a bit like a brass instrument, so it works well.

I’ve heard mixed things. But My brother had a 50cc with a pipe that ran 40-45mph. I think he also had an upgraded carb.

My plan is basically do one mod at a time Untill I’m satisfied with how fast it is lol. I already tried just an intake, jet, and unrestricted stock exhaust, it went from 27mph to 30 with that. Also gets off the line a lot faster.

So I’ll do the exhaust, then a carb, then The 70cc kit eventually. If need be. I really only need it to do 35 since I’ll only be use it on 25mph roads.

45 with just a pipe and a carb? I could see that if he’s a very small person I suppose.

Nope he’s 230 6’3” gorilla. Maybe that had a 70cc kit and he just didn’t know it. Or different gearing. Idk
