Sunrader made only an estimate 25-30 of these 4×4 fiberglass overhead / passthrough campers from 1985-88. This is a factory Turbo (22RTE), of which they made maybe 4 ever. This one does have the upgraded 6 lug rear axle.

Those emojis say all I need to know. The exclamations also hutt a bit. I suspect this was bought by the current owner (who is probably kind of hip, and trying to cash in on local monied techhipster types) for under 10K. Also the unwillingness to address small faults while asking top dollar says a lot.
Although not a turbo 4x4, I think this was a better deal:

$45k is a bit steep for a leaky RV, but since the distriburator (tm) is new, then it’s all better.

It’s neat, for the sake of being weird and nostalgic.
None of the comforts of home with all the features and benefits of a mid-1980's Toyota truck, priced like a LOADED Pacifica + cash for nice hotel rooms.

Many years ago I asked my grandfather why he didn’t buy an RV. His response was that his Buick LeSabre was a comfortable highway cruiser and that he could stay in very nice hotel rooms for much less than the price of an RV.

The upholstery looks nasty and the water damaged wall board, we could go on . This is maybe a $20k rig, not a $50k rig. The mechanical work that the owner has done to make it road worth probably amounts to $5k or less.

That dually axle is less safe than having a regular old Toyota single axle but they keep bringing it up like it’s a good thing

While I love this thing, if I was chasing nostal gia and for that kind of money I’d rather buy a 70's GMC motor home and restomod it.
