I’ve been a huge fan of Simon Stålenhag since I first saw his paintings years ago, and it sure looks to me like this is on track to be absolutely stellar.
He just nailed that childhood aesthetic so beautifully. While my experience wasn’t in Sweden, just the snow belt of NE Ohio, it’s still so close to my own imagination when I was a kid.
I can’t wait.

Wow, he absolutely nailed making a scout walker look like something international harvester would build. And all it took was a paint job.

Ooh I totally remember this retro Sc i-fi series of artwork. Based on the trailer looks like it stays true to the style

Hopefully it won’t get buried on yet another exclusive partner organization like CBS All Access. The proliferation of streaming services is really annoying.

yes! the art has been a long time favourite of mine. here’s hoping the story holds up, but if its this pretty I’ll watch for a while regardless of plot
