I was changing planes at HNL a couple of years ago, look up at the flight Departures board, and notice a DL flight on a 19 hour delay.... and figured those passengers were probably hatin’ life about that point. Especially since, by NOT canceling, it left 250 people without the option to try to re-book on Hawaiian or one of the majors to get back to the mainland.

Never quite saw the benefit to “we never cancel flights”, but I see DL has eased up a bit on that hollow claim.
