Definitely looks like a Fiero. Same roofline and A pillar, and distance from the door panel to rear wheel looks about right too.

I’m 85% sure that’s a Mera modified to be even more Ferrari-like. It’s got the same low belt line and intake. Different headlight panels and hood, though. Same wheels, same weird roof spoiler.

Which is sad. Meras are a bit of a unique item amongst us Fiero types, and they don’t need to be modded into a uglier fauxrarri.

Looks like they swapped out the bumper, hood, and headlight covers. Maybe a front-end accident in the past.

Yep, it’s updated to a 328 nose, not sure Meras ever came that way but it sure looks like one otherwise.

I have a natural aversion to 2.5s, since my first car (88 Fiero base coupe) and I hated how slow it was! Got 40mpg though.

Only like 240 someodd got made before Ferrari sued. As somebody pointed out below, it may also be a Mirage kit. Hard to tell without getting close.

Apparently there were only 250 or so Meras made before the operation got shut down so seeing a real one would be pretty rare. It does kinda make me wonder what percentage of Fieros are sporting Ferrari kits at this point, though.

My mom had a Dookie in her 83 Ciera. It was slow, but it really was a pretty good car - my brother and I beat the hell out of it as teenagers, but it kept on going.
