The neighbor actually hunts bears, as do some people in my church. The latter, for meat. We have multiple potential bear countermeasures in the house. This bear may not have considered whomst he is bemessing withst.

I watched Hot Shots! 1 and 2 on Starz this past weekend, probably for the first time in 15 years. Pretty impressive how well they’ve held up, especially now that I get some of the jokes I missed the 1st time round:

Lloyd Bridges is SOLID GOLD. I really like a lot of the little things that the movies do to build a mood, as well; like the long line of disaster/doom cliches that Deadmeat goes through on his way to the final flight.

Damn chickens - we raised a bunch growing up and I am not a fan of the birds. Better than Turkeys, they’re both dumb as a rock and mean. We did once have an awful rooster that would run off our dogs and would attack savagely when you went to retrieve eggs.
