To mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services, better known by the acronym QANTAS, the airline has produced an epic inflight safety video that highlights the aircraft and uniforms of their century of service. Using QANTAS pilots and flight attendants as actors dressed in period costume, the video begins with an Avro 504, the company’s first airplane, and progresses through aircraft (some CGI) that highlight a specific decade of service.
I’m not sure this is the best video to promote safety on an airliner, but anything airlines can do to get people to watch is a good thing, and this is certainly a beautiful video.

I loved that. The 70s scene and clothes were so over the top, and Darryl’s Ron Burgundy hair and ‘stache were priceless.
