Absolutely not worth the price, but very nice looking.

Growing up, I always liked the Z34s. They’re FWD though, aren’t they? I dunno if I could live with another FWD sporty car. (07 G6 GTP and current 13 FoST)

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of those with gloss in the paint before.

Wait, hold on, a G6 GTP with the wing or nah? I need a review.

Yeah, these were FWD. I’m not sure how sporty they really were. Sportier than the standard models? Sure! But I don’t think they could truly be called sporty. They could be had with a Getrag 5-speed though.

Special attention needs to be paid to make sure the paint and primer have begun flaking off directly under both front windows to be authentic and considered period correct.

Those seats look a l ot like the rear seats in my 98 Grand Prix.  They were super comfortable and great for... activites.

I used to take these first-gen Luminas for g ranted as nothing particularly special, but I miss them more than I thought I would. I don’t miss those seatbelts, but I’ve come to appreciate th e generous visibility granted by the greenhouse, as well as that bold, sleek exterior styling and slick dashboard. I seem to recall the trunk being pretty spacious, too.

That Lumina is like stepping back in the to an Avis lot in the last full year of Bush 41's presidency.

The sedan probably belongs in some museum collection somewhere.  I doubt there are many low mileage Luminas around - and why would there be?

200 HP with the auto, 210 with the manual and they had the heavy duty suspension . They were decent by early 90s standards.

It’s priced like a museum piece, but isn’t mint enough. Also appears sparsely optioned.

It’s no doubt another elderly owned car where the original owner might be at the big car lot in the sky, and the estate dumped it.

So I had the 2007 G6 GTP sedan, which had the 3.6 High Feature. No giant wing, I think that was later model GXPs. It was comfy, good interior (for GM,) and reasonably quick for 252hp/252tq (or something like that). But I had the auto (didn’t know how to drive stick at the time,) and worse, it was very torque-steery. Unlike my FoST, you would feel the wheel yank and the nose lift. Good for highway cruising and decent at cornering.

Mind you, when I got it, it was the fastest car I’d owned. Wayyyyyy quicker than a base model 88 Fiero w/ the 2.5 Iron Duke, and pretty slick compared to the 03 9C1 Cop Impala I had, with the N/A 3800.

Pros:

Sleeper for the HP available - didn’t attract attention

Comfy heated leather seats

Decent GM Interior

Quick from a rolling start

Cons:

Auto with no LSD

Tame looks

Quiet Exhaust

The 3.6 High Feature nearly ate the timing chain

The transmission blew later (But it was my Ex-Wife’s car at that point, gave it to her in the divorce as I had my 88 Fiero GT and soon to get 10 Mustang GT, so....not my monkeys, not my circus)

My mom had an APV, and I drove it for a semester in college cause she blew the motor in my first Fiero over the summer.

I don’t know if giving a 19 year old a 200hp Series II N/A 3800 V6 minivan was a good idea. My friends called it the Minivan of Power (as opposed to another friends Dodge Caravan, the Stick Shift Minivan of Wonder, looking at you, LongVoyager), and it had nice tint for....excursions with girlfriends.

Could spin a wheel from a standstill too. It was fun.

Honestly, in my uneducated “youth” at the time of buying it, having fog lights and heated seats was a big plus lol.

That damn pinstripe got smudged/torn in about 4 places and drove me NUTS
