Only if we all had a standard grin, the world would be a better place.

Heard about this yesterday. Although I wasn’t around when the sets he designed were new, they were the sets my dad grew up with, and I inherited his collection as my first Lego. He saved all the instructions and stuff as well, so I often looked at those for inspiration. So I grew up with a lot of the same classic space, technic, and castle sets that he collected, a nd now we both have nostalgia for those. The things Jens Nygaard Knudsen created had a major influence on me, and will forever be a fondly remembered part of my childhood. Thank you, Jens.

2020 is the year of Death.
At least Jens can rest assured that his creation will live on in the hands of children and adults alike all over the world for generations to come. Not many people get to leave such a widespread impact on the world.

I always wanted to do this for real:
Talking to the funeral director while making my mom’s arrangements, she said she had someone actually specify and pay for that.

and as the song plays the casket would have to emit some quiet creaking and bumping sort of noises, as if something could happen at any moment
