!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! That’s right in the seven years this car has been around, it has covered 190k miles. I thought it was a typo until I saw the odometer.
That comes out to right around 27k miles per year, which is a lot. I put that many on my 328i the first year I had it, but, since then, I have decreased the amount I drive. I got an E92 because I thought it’d be better at racking up those kind of miles, apparently you can also drive an F30 that much too.
Despite the mileage, the car appears to be in fantastic shape. Doesn’t look like there are that many stone chips in the front bumper.
The engine bay looks really clean too, but that could because the dealer cleaned.
The front seat looks like it might have done 19k miles, not 190k miles.
If there are some maintenance records to accompany this 328i, it could be a great deal at only $8K.
So anyone need a high mileage F30 in their lives?

I would trust a high miliage vehicle more than a neglected lease

I’m surprised the timing chain guide is still intact.

I was thinking the same thing, wonder if it was replaced.

Same, at that mileage you know they had to take care of it, otherwise it wouldn’t last that while. On the other hand, my strategy for buying BMWs has been to buy a low mileage single owner car. It’s worked for me.

Wow, that thing looks incredible for that kind of mileage. Could be a great bargain if it doesn’t need much more than basic normal maintenance.

To do that kind of mileage, you need to take care of it. I would assume that it wouldn’t need much more than basic maintenance . Then again, it might need things like shocks, but you fix those and you’ve got a bunch of fresh of parts on it.

I've started to see these pop up used, with high mileage. Are BMW'S becoming more reliable? I've considered a few with 115k for 11ish thousand...

Reliable is a relative term, but it seems they are making cars that last longer with minimal maintenance .

This strikes me as the MBP hooked up to a monitor that runs nonstop with the lid closed inside a protective enclosure with no ventilation of cars. To preserve retail value despite the hard life it’s lived. It’s even trendy Mac white.
Wait, this is from the period when iDrive controls were beyond hopeless even isn’t it. Too funny. Wonder the real story behind this vehicle is.

I’m not sure why, I apparently seek out or stumble upon them. Today, my GF was busy so I wanted to go test drive a certian Porsche, but sadly, it sold. As a result, wanted to see if there was anything interesting with a manual near me, and I came across this.

These in particular had one fatal flaw (plastic timing chain guides); with that fixed, i.e updated to the new design, you’re good to go. And by the looks of this one, that's really it...

If it was an E46, I'm interested!

Gotta have been replaced - given the mileage, maybe even preventatively.

Seems like a super cheap way to get into one of these. Manual, too.

For real, think this might be the cheapest F30 I’ve seen and it looks like it has been taken care of.

My guess would be someone had a car allowance from their company and they stretched it to a BMW, that or they had a hell of a commute.

Hmm, I'm intrigued. Let's see if I can transfer my Japanese reliability over to these...
