It’d be one thing if you went to Wendy’s or something but you really went all out.

Then again, if sushi was easy to make at home we wouldn’t be so tempted to go out and eat it. Damn you, sushi!

That’s the thing. We made carne asada tacos Monday and they were amazing — Mexican restaurants are a total crapshoot here . Our pasta dishes are good to very good. Our fried rice is great to excellent. My wife even makes chicken Tikka masala (spelling error?) from scratch. Good dishes and big savings all around...

... But SUSHI...

The other problem is that for me to get full on sushi as I would with other meals, it’s going to cost quite a lot when I go out. That’s probably why there are so many all-you-can-eat sushi joints.

All jokes aside, I do this all the time, with either sushi or places that serve good salmon. Ends up being more expensive than what I planned every single time.
