This is my feeling. Most days it’s been in 2nd gear and sounding pretty spicy, but yesterday was a letdown. Given that its noise is sometimes the best part of my day, I can’t let them slack off.

That’s awesome!
After waiting for 2 months, I just got my VIN for my GT350 yesterday so now I can keep track of its progress online. It’s slated for production the week of April 6th so I’m hoping for maybe a late April-to-mid-May delivery.
I feel like I’ve watched about every video on YouTube for the GT350 and after all the raves about its sounds and driving experience, these next 2-3 months are gonna be brutal! I can only stand the “virtual” experience for so long!
If you don't mind, I'd like to share this with the Shelby guys on the 6gMustang forum; they'd get a big kick out of it.

Please post it as often as possible here ;) I'm not real big on most new cars but the S550 hooked me hard and the GT350 is just unbeatably cool for me. What color and trim is yours?

Justifiable, my commute practically forces a shortcut through a residential area and there's a couple of humorous signs up for the folks who don't abide the stop signs.

After seeing all the available colors in person on the other trims (Ecoboost, GT, etc) I went with Velocity Blue. Besides blue being my favorite color, in person in the sunlight it looks incredible and so deep. I was torn between it and Performance Blue which is an exclusive color to Ford Performance vehicles, but IMO it looks dull and washed out compared to Velocity Blue.
As far as options, I ordered a non-R model as I wanted the back seats so both my young boys (ages 3 and 5) could ride together and the 350 comes standard with the main things I’d have had to option up on a GT as about a year and a half ago I was intitially looking at GTs: Active Exhaust, Magnaride dampers, and the Recaro racing seats. Granted they’re cloth, where the Recaros in a GT are leather, but I didn’t care about the material so much as the seats themselves, plus having sat in a 350 with the Recaros, they’re amazing, though not for everyone as they’re SO snug. I’m pretty average in build at 6'0", 210 lbs and a fairly broad torso and I felt they fit me like a glove. Doing some enthusiastic cornering, I won’t be moving ANYWHERE in those things.
The only options I added to the car were the exposed carbon fiber instrument panel and the factory car cover. No stripes, no upgraded B&O sound system, no voice navigation, and definitely didn’t want the leather comfort seats with power movement and heated/air cooled capabilities; too much luxury crap that I felt were the opposite of what this car is about, plus it’ll just be a leisure car as I have my commuter/DD, my truck, and my wife’s van if I feel the need for being coddled while driving lol.
I wanted something that would feel special , like an “event” every time I drove it and after reading so many articles and owner reviews on the 350, I know without a doubt I made the right call.

That’s a delicious color choice without stripes, and I love that you chose a base with no extra frippery , that will be an unforgettable cool car for your sons! Definitely an event of a car, I get excited every time a friend of mine brings his red GT by, and a 350 is on another level. Can’t wait to see pictures of it, I’m stoked for you.

Im laughing. Google maps would never route people to snake through my neighborhood for an outlet 8 blocks or so from the main route but some on the opposite side of the thoroughfare find it inticing to cut the hypotenuse. I use the route, but already live in here. 6 residential turns vs 2 on designated route

Even the main roads are residential. Im thinking 8 stop signs vs one stop sign and two lights set for 5mph over posted speed limit. I live where I do because I like easy commutes and minimal traffic. The main road for me is to go south or west, the neighborhood route is for east or north and I already live on it
