welp...looks like whatsitcalled racing stroll point india force has the fastest car this season.. closely followed by the renaults and with both bull teams lagging
ferrari and mercedes are looking to be in for a fight with the williams and a certain grumpy old fin to be best of the rest
also the mercs are up to something with the steering......probably nothing important
welp... in any event im sure everyone is absolutely showing everything they’re capable of...sooo im off to the bookies to go bet me lifesavings (all 14 euros worth)

Mercedes seems very sure of its legality.
The name of the game is for other teams to try to get it banned so they don’t have to develop a system like this themselves.
They say they’ve spoken to the FIA about it which is why they’re so sure it’s legal... reminds me of the double diffuser, the difference being that a couple of other teams besides Brawn had the same interpretation leading to their own double diffusers (I want to say it was Toyota and Williams that developed their own). No one else has thought of DAS, so it could be interesting.

I always laugh at the comments from fans and even news sites from early testing. We won’t know where they are until the last day of testing, or even more accurately, Saturday after qualifying for the first GP.

hopefully the bulls get their shit together from the get go...having the big 3 have a proper fight for the championship would be nice
also hoping williams can at least keep up this year
anyhoo...pointless as it is to speculate this early... the force indias look to be racing a merc clone this year...they really might be very quick
or it could not work for them at all lol

It’s looking good for everyone during the first day of testing, the specs are really matured now, almost perfect reliability with over 20 GPs of race laps done on the first day.
The feeling is that Red Bull will be right up there this year. The mid-field was so strong last year, it’s going to get even tighter. Maybe even a break-out by one into the top 3?

hmmm...tbh that pack is so close together im not sure any one can just break out... heres to hoping the whole pack is a lil closer to the big 3... would make mistakes up front very costly
