Back in my junior year of HS I ditched class a lot and forged notes to cover the absences. The next year I chose to work in the attendance office so that I could destroy those documents . I bet that I  could never get away with that crap these days...

Your child  made it all the way until the end of the day when he threw a ruler across the room. When I addressed the safety concern with him he began to laugh. He sat outside the classroom for over 20 minutes refusing to fill out his Thinking Sheet. He was very concerned he was going to miss the bus, but I made him sit here until he completed it.

Nice my kid did this today. Note this is My iPad.

He put it back from where he got it hoping I wouldn’t notice. That’s 200% more annoying than just accidentally dropping an iPad down the stairs.

Walking down the stairs while quote “carrying it like a pizza” he slipped and while trying to catch himself he chucked it down said stairs. It rolled all the way down and the hit wall at the end.

Thankfully I wasn’t home so I had a good half hour to calm  down before I got home to talk to him about it.

Our daughter (3rd grade at the time) got us a phone call and school meeting with the counse lor and principal. When they called me, I couldn’t help myself and laughed, which did not help thing bec ause my reaction was “inappropriate.” Why the hubbu b? S he was sitting on the floor during reading time and her bully was bullying her, s o she punched him square in the nuts. Fuck that kid lol . Earned that detention like a boss.
