Wonder if SAIC will take it off their hands? They’re already doing RHD sales in the UK, India, and Thailand (the other such markets GM has vacated in recent years).

It’s a shame they didn’t follow through with the Zeta platform in the US and instead, stuck with the FWD Impala (as well as making the uninspiring Cadillac XTS) for their large car.

When you sell shit...you get what you deserve.

The only Holden selling was the ancient Colorado and even that wasn’t enough to keep the Thai factory at even close to capacity. Since GM don’t have a development partner for a new one...it wasn’t worth retooling. So they sold the Thai plant to SAIC (came to terms in the last couple of weeks) so SAIC can sell even cheaper Great Wall Steeds into the south east Asian , Oz and Kiwi markets.

I tried to find his death scene in that flick for an Oppo comment . It was so relevant to GM Holden...

...but, like General Motors, I have failed.
