Update 3: Now it is broken in.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Update 2:

Close. Will have to take a creative way home today, pretty sure it is less than 2 miles before I get on the tollway where there isn’t a good place to stop. Or maybe out for lunch...

Kinja'd!!!

Update: didn’t get there yet, worked from home one day.

Kinja'd!!!

I should get to 100k this week, hopefully at a point I can take a picture. Bought it in September 2017 with 52k miles. With my work commute at about 90 miles round-trip, this isn’t surprising.

Kinja'd!!!

And yes, I put my seatbelt on before I drove off.

That’s a long commute, I’m surprised you do it by truck.

Holy shit!

We bought ours in July, we’ve already tacked on almost 20k miles!

It is mostly on a toll road where I set the cruise at 73. With 4 kids I need the three rows for weekend duty, though only three are at the same school so during the week I could get by with two rows.

That, and with the penchant for curb high water from rain in Houston I fell better knowing I can get through that if needed.  (Yes, I know to "turn around, don't drown".)

That’s fair enough.

Did you get the newer truck in the end?

You need to align all the gauges as well at that moment, i ncluding the compass. ;)

Nope, reality got the better of that thought.  I really don’t need 4WD, and it likely would have cost me a couple grand.  Just about every use case where I would even want 4WD I will probably be flying someplace and renting anyway.

Wow...not sure how I’ll do that unless I do it with the truck off.
