Interesting that a no-frills ‘35 Ford sedan delivery was up-optioned for the Lincoln style greyhound hood ornament and bumper cleats.
Edit: and the police-style spotlight? I guess it’s for working outdoors, but that’s quite odd.

An ex-paddy wagon given a second career?

Possibly, but why would a paddy wagon have been “deluxe”d?
Now, I have seen pictures of a ‘64 Galaxie 500XL Victoria R-code that was ordered by a police department with (apparently) waaaay too much left over in the yearly budget as the chief’s car (!), but I kind of think that sort of thing would be the exception rather than the rule.
I would have thought that the guy had bought a stripper model and added the greyhound himself, were it not for the bumper cleats also being a fancifying option. I don’t know the options sheet , though - maybe those were minimal add for a V8 model, which I think I can see on the hubcaps and would be not out of the ordinary for a police package.
My own Ranchero, which was a government special order, was so decontented that it had a button horn instead of a ring.
