Second times the charm, yes? Fingers are crossed and all the wood has been knocked on. It was much easier but a tad bit more finicky to do with two people, compared to doing it myself last year. Honestly, I’m not even sure how I did it myself last year...
Everything was triple-checked for gasket fitment and positioning. The bolts were loctite’d and once’d over after everything was torqued to spec. Now, all that’s left is to:
Resurface the flywheel and replace the pilot bearing.
Get and install a new clutch and pressure plate.
Replace a torn rack
& pinion boot.
replace the worn shift bushings at the transmission.
And that’s just to get it on the road. Even more after that to get it to competent daily driver status .

I know you probably hear it all the time, but I love your Porsche. The colour is fantastic and I love the hard work you put into it. Definitely one of my favourite cars on Oppo.

Would you believe me if I said I don’t hear it all the time? Not that it’s the primary fuel source for my working on the car, those and your compliments are very appreciated.
