I’m on your favorite regional jet.
Everyone talks shit about Embraers but I don't mind ‘em.

Please add me to the shit-talkers! Can’t stand the 175 that Air Canada uses from Toronto to Saskatoon. Far too small for me.

They’re perfectly good airplanes, my hatred for them is because they’re sardine cans without bag storage.
Safe travels!

E190 is great.
E145 is a no-bag-stow bad joke

Shit If you think the 175 is bad...
I’m ok with that one. It’s way better than the 145.

To be fair I talk trash about any plane that doesn't have room for my helmet under the seats

You plebs and your non-private Jets.

I fly on the Alaska/Horizon E175 all the time and always buy the economy plus seat as the regular economy seats are designed for midgets.

Use Th e toilet in the front of the plane it’s the same size as a shoe box.

I flew the 135/145 for 8.5 years and 5,000+ hours. It has no personality but does it’s job well and aparently e asier to wrench on than a CRJ.

I actually quite like the 175.... it’s hell of a lot better than a CRJ100/200... I used to fly to a lot of smaller regional airports when I travelled for a living, and whenever I got to ride a 175 instead of a CRJ (or a Dash-8) I jumped for joy. It’s a quiet, comfortable aircraft with a bright, airy cabin. I always travelled light, so the lack of stowage never bothered me in the least, given how pleasant the r ide was.

I’m fully (well , almost fully) okay with Embraers. In nearly 25 years in service, I don’t think the ERJ fleet has ever suffered a fatal incident in civilian flights.

just realized this is an ERJ, not the new E jet. RIP EssExTee.

Is this the one they refer to as the lawn dart? Or is that the CRJ?

I’ve been up on a two seat plane and it wasn’t even si de-by-side. Nothing is too small after that.

My bags stowed just fine

Ummm, I'm Samuel United III. The whole fleet is my private plane

I'm 6' and I'm fine with whatever setup United is using

It was a 40 minute flight. No need for the onboard facility
![]() 02/15/2020 at 18:52 |

It’s not the plane that’s the problem. It’s the other people they pack in with me that ruin it.

I like Embraer’s E-Jet Series , which seem great to me, but not the 135/140/145 which are terrible.

This was the least vibratey one I’ve ever been on

I enjoy how brisk things are with small planes. Boarding to pushback was only 15 minutes, and the seatbelt checks took the attendant a whole minute. I was off the plane within five minutes of arriving at the gate

I love whatever Embraer Alaska/Horizon uses between here and Seattle. Much better than the Bombardiers they also use.
(Evidently E175 vs Q400)

Barbie fun jet. Lawn dart is referenced as it’s more po inty , Although the ERJ doesn’t have as good a record.

My experience with Embraer is a little different than most: my first job out of college was making harness drawings for the E175/E190 ( among other planes) for production in Mexico.
...and that’s how t he phrase “inserte los contactos en los connectores” ended up in my Spanish phrasebook.

gonna be on a 175 to Albequirky in May - first time on an Embraer

You won't feel that way after you've ridden in the planes that go to small communities up north.

E190 is hot garbage. The most unreliable POS I’ve had the pleasure of earning a living in. At least from the passenger perspective it’s nice with good seats and engines that run, but from a pilot and maintenance perspective they should all be crushed.
