I loved it. One of my favorite bad movies of the last decade

The book is actually as impressive as the movie is bad. The author clearly knows his history, as if he really studied Sandbu rg’s Lincoln . His story carefully incorporates all the real events while providing alternate motivations for Lincoln’ s actions throughout his career.

I agree completely. I was actually surprised by just how well done the book was.
The movie was doomed to be a bad movie, but it’s one of those that’s so bad I thoroughly enjoyed it and will eventually watch it again.

I enjoyed it just for the visuals of our 16th president wielding an axe and kicking ass.
