A wheel access hole that, once the wheel is rotated into the right place, allows the caliper to be removed while the car’s on the ground. Smart thinking.
One assumes that either the caliper needs to break in half or there needs to be a notch in the rotor to complete making the dream a reality.
The wheel design is also likely to make it easier to install those two-piece

The title made me think of D&DT, which made me think this was some new wheel designed so that it could tolerate losing an entire spoke section and not collapse.
