I absolutely love these old car ads.  They say a lot about the psyche of the day and the place cars had in it.

19' long, boye. The suicide door lincolns were suicide setup because the rear doors on these were so big they were afraid people used to them would hate how much harder it would be to get in otherwise.

If I could make a confession. I always like the grill of the 60 more than the 59. However, I like the gauge cluster of the 59 more.
