Beginning in 1937, Chrysler began selling Dodge trucks with DeSoto badges in Mexico, C entral America, S outh America, and various island nations. The Holy Grail of DeSoto trucks is the DeSoto Sweptside, which is similar in concept to the Dodge Sweptside, except that it used 1956 Plymouth quarter panels instead of 1957 Dodge station wagon quarter panels.

Never heard of that DeSoto Sweptside (I’ve seen several of the cool Dodge variety), nice.

In Turkey locally built DeSoto branded trucks were still available as late as 2015.
