WHITE STUFF. Also my cat Grady is back at the Vet for the third time. Dude’s UTI is causing a lot of issues. He was peeing blood when I brought him in this time and has next to no appetite and isn’t adequately hydrating. They’re pumping him full of stuff that will hopefully get him going well enough he’ll take his antibiotics at home, and a different kind of antibiotic that I can force him to eat. Going to try various different kinds of food and I bought a kitty water fountain that will hopefully entice him to stay hydrated.

We have a cat that had similar problems, blood and all. Switched to Wellness wet food and haven’t had problems since.

It stinks something horrible and it’s not exactly cheap but cheaper than the vet and kitty is happy.

Are the meds pills or liquid? I have a pill gun for my cat’s thyroid pills and it’s a lifesaver, but I had cats for ten years before I had any idea that they existed.

In my mind you are scared of your cat hurting you when giving it pills. The pill gun has a scope, you and a spotter setup on a distant roof top and wait for the car to meow or yawn before dispatching a single pill straight down its throat.
One shot. One pill.
(I swear, I didn’t intend that to turn out as a dad joke. I can’t deny what I am, though.)

Hahaha. The reality isn’t far off, just much closer range
The cat who needs pills is a blind Siamese, so she talks constantly and doesn’t see when you have the pill gun. Go sit with her and pet her, wait for her to yell about something and BAM. Easy peasy.
