That, comrade, is not how it works. The Politburo has set out the Five Year Plan and a certain amount of resources has been allocated to camera production. A medium format camera uses more of these resources and leaves less available for the rest of the proletariat. You can only buy a medium format if you can establish that you will use it in a manner that benefits society as a whole.
