I’ll be curious to hear how much you think it helps. My Volvo came with a basic one (also supports the upper engine mount) from the factory:

Mine came with one as well, and I have had them on my previous two volvo’s.  I noticed exactly no difference in handling with or without, though it does look better under the hood with one installed.  I was told to install them with the front suspension in the air, for whatever that is worth.

We’ll find out, forums and reviews all say it’s one of your best bang for buck handling upgrades, especially for $75 shipped

I think on some cars the difference can be dramatic. In all the Volvo’s I had people claimed that the strut towers were pretty stoutly tied into the firewall which apparently aided considerably in keeping the strut towers from flexing.

Hope it helps! What do the forums say about larger sway bars? I have always found those to be the best bag for your buck handling upgrade.

Larger sway bars are great too, just not as cheap. More in the $250-$300 range, $500 for a full set
