Lets start out, I love this movie and I hope it inspires more auto racing films. That said, I’m not sure how a movie with a glaring editing continuity error won the oscar. In the shot where Christian Bale’s Ken Miles is running they show him stop and look at his now IRS chained up shop while also establishing it across from his house. Later in the movie, when Matt Damon’s Carol Shelby is trying to entice Miles into looking at the GT40 for the first time, it again establishes the locked garage across from his house. But when Shelby goes back to Miles’s house following the dismal first LeMans showing they get into a fight in a park across from Miles ’s house. After the fight, while both Miles and She lb y are on the ground Caitriona Balfe’s Molly Miles asks them if she can get them anything from the store and it shows her in front of the garage but them in the park. The movie sticks with the park across the street for the remainder of the movie. It makes me wonder if they had to reshoot some of the scenes to add more humor. Either way, great movie and shows that award shows are a farce.

Unless the garage was torn down and replaced with a park within that incredibly brief period of time...

Proof that the Oscars are bullshit.

I really enjoy this movie so let’s just make that the narrative moving forward.
