Local craiglist this morning exposed this gem:

It’s in my home town, I should go at least look at it. Frankly if it were $1500 this would be in my garage being prepped to be turned into a full on cosworth tribute prior to asking permission from the wife. It’s next to a hellcat so owner likes cars at least.

I feel like it’s close too though I don’t follow that market. I have always wanted one but now is not the time for projects at our house.

I think it’s a little high; up here in MN there was a XR4Ti in very similar shape that started on FB marketplace starting at $3,000 and I think last I saw they were ask $2,400 before the ad disappeared.

It isn't a terrible price, but definitely room for negotiation given some of the issues. A/C probably needs a charge too
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

Given its needs, offer 2500 and walk away, still one of the better ones out there even with the flaws. Great color for it.

I thought those were all black with big wings on the back—nice description though: ‘ I think that’s it, but I’m probably forgetting a few little things, because, well, Merkur” looks pretty clean, if you want something unique to t inker with price seems to be in the ballpark (of something old, semi-rare, but not all that valuable that runs and doesn't look like crap, no specific idea on used Merkurs).
