My biggest issue with the movie were the scenes at Shelby American when they had obvious clones with big wheels on the floor.

Yeah, I noticed that too. They definitely looked out of place. Which is weird, because the rest of the movie looked pretty consistently historically accurate in terms of vehicles and technology...

I finally saw that in the theater last night, too . It was good. I drove the GTI there and joked with my wife that I’d recreate the movie on the drive home.

Amusingly, it reminded me of how much I was in love with Ferrari race cars of the 60s and 70s when I was a boy in the early 80s. I had a huge grin when the showed the Ferrari race shop and enjoyed the “antagonists” cars on the track so much more than the “ hero” cars. But I was appropriately drawn in by the characters and their relationships.

I found it amusing that Shelby had the Porsche personal car in the beginning, then switched to a Cobra the rest of the film.
