That’s a hell of a lot more snow than I have in NW Ohio. We got 2-3 inches Wednesday night. Most snow we’ve had all year. I think winter is just fucking with us though. It’ll dump a shit ton of snow on Easter or some such shit. I just know it.

Agreed. That quiet is wonderful. Just walking outside on familiar streets, with an unfamiliar sense of tranquility.

I love how snow muffles sound (and covers unsightly landscaping).

I would often go for walks and hikes after a snowfall when growing up in Wisconsin. It always felt a bit warmer too. Nothing like a 3 mile hike at 3:30 in the morning with fresh powder under my boots and not a soul in sight.
